Mini / Maxi Mon & Kyu Grades Competition

We’re delighted to announce that this event returns to the Foyle Arena on the 27th of April.

This is very much a developmental event, however it will be point scoring for the 1st Kyu grades.

It is the responsibility of the person entering to ensure they enter the correct weight of the competitor, as changes to this on the day will affect the pre-prepared pools and the event timings. 

All players must have a current up-to-date membership of the NIJF/BJA/IJA (IJA members resident in Northern Ireland)

MINI / MAXIMON

Players must be 8 years old to compete and maximum age is 14.
All Mon grades eligible to compete.
Minimum weight limit to compete is 25kg.

(Armlocks and strangles will not be permitted in any Maximon groups.)

KYU GRADES

Players must be 15 years and over to compete
Maximum grade – Brown belt (1st Kyu/18th Mon)

(Armlocks and strangles will be permitted in groups with Green (3rd Kyu) to Brown (1st Kyu) belts only).
